Calculator information
Your guest counts, prices, and saved plan stay in your browser. Your unfinished plan is kept in session storage in this browser tab so you can browse recipes and return to it. It is not saved in an account or uploaded to us. Links that add a recipe include that recipe’s identifier. Closing the tab clears the saved plan. Start a new cookout also clears it. If browser storage is unavailable, leaving the page may clear your choices.
Printing uses your browser and printer settings.
Optional analytics
On our public website, we ask before loading Google Analytics. If you allow it, Google processes page visits, shopping list creation and print requests, along with device and connection information. Your guest counts, menu choices and entered prices are not included in these events. We remove query strings and fragments from the page address sent to Analytics.
Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits. We disable advertising personalization and Google signals. Local previews do not load Google Analytics.
Your choice
You can use the planner without allowing analytics. We remember your choice in this browser for up to six months using local storage. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change it. Declining after previously allowing analytics clears our Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It stops future collection from this browser but does not erase information already collected.
